Meet Al. He started coding at age 10 on an Apple II+ and has a EE degree, but his career took him down a business path. He's business-minded, yet technically-inclined. He loves to play 2-man beach volleyball. He has a wife, son, and dog that keep him (in)sane.
Meet Jim. Jim has been a CEO, GM, CFO and VP Sales for various companies but they have had the same common core values of Honest, Hungry, Humble and Happy. When Jim isn’t helping people start things, you can find him on the trails above Boulder, CO running, skiing or Landrovering.
Meet Steve. He’s a certifiable data junkie responsible for algorithms that provide relevant search results on Bing.com. He’s also an investor, startup lover, and a big data + machine learning guru.
Meet Bryan. He started coding at age 10 on a TRS-80 Model III. He has a Cognitive Science degree with an artificial intelligence and behavior focus. He enjoys trailrunning (sometimes barefoot), and once held his breath for 4 minutes and 12 seconds.
Meet Gerry. He's an old dude who thinks business strategy and operations is the greatest thing since sliced bread; he was General Manager of BlueHornet, one of the most respected ESPs in the market. He's a data geek at heart!
Meet Chris. He's a technology producer previously responsible for the tech behind StockTwits and now MojoPages. He’s also an investor, tech + startup junkie, and a dog and food lover.
Meet Colin. His idea of a good time is using math to help people make better decisions. When he's not coding, Colin is a community organizer with impossibly large goals and the support network to match.
Meet Taner. Coding since the 80's he eventually became the 1st full-time employee at Facebook. He built and ran their original infrastrucutre, so he's intimately familiar with email. After a time with Blizzard and other Bay Area startups, he realized he couldn't stay away from San Diego. So he returned to help nurture the local startup community, and teach at his alma mater UCSD.
